Passionflower is the 9th in a series of Flower Essences, each having their own unique expression and qualities.
Panama Red Passionflower is a prolific hybrid vine; once established, needs little to thrive. Large juicy nourishing purple passion fruits emerge from the passionflowers. As a supplement, Passionflower calms and can be effective for insomnia.
Possible Symptoms: Anxiety, fear, suffering, doubt, unhealthy boundaries, concern about what other people think about you – need to justify yourself, projecting a past experience or belief onto other people e.g. fear of people, people are dangerous, not easy to make friends etc. Compromising of self. Vagueness, disconnected, ungrounded.
Positive Attributes: Calm, healthy boundaries, recognition of your value. Appreciation of self and others, grounded, and able to take action. Inspired interaction where everybody thrives. Passion.
When we harbor fearful thoughts and emotions, those anxieties, fears and beliefs can thwart us from experiencing the life we desire to have. We attract what we think and feel into our lives, whether negative or positive, so it makes sense to discern the validity of what we give our attention to. Awareness is key in cultivating a wonderful life.
Much like weeding a garden, our negative thoughts and emotions need to be kept in check, so they don’t take over. Anxiety, doubt and worry are discord seeded into the future, and over time take root and attract problems. This can be prevented by having awareness about what we are thinking and feeling.
This discord (that we have allowed to grow out of habit and lack of attention) can be pulled out. Instead of projecting negativity into the future, we can reach for thoughts and feelings (sunlight) that feel good, and expect to get what we would love to have happen. By appreciating and caring for our inner gardens with loving attention, we thrive.
“What am I passionate about?” “What would it take for my life (garden) to thrive?” Questions lead us to what we want. We choose the step that feels right and makes sense for us.
Love and awareness are vines of consciousness that can flower throughout our lives; their delicious fruits of wellbeing are accessible to each one of us.
Taking your Essence –
Administer your essence whenever you feel you require it. Take a few drops either under the tongue, topically, or in a glass of water.
To get better results, state to yourself what you would like your Essence to assist you with, and expect good things to come.
How would having this desired outcome make you feel? For example, would it bring more peace, joy, freedom, empowerment or love? Feel and imagine what it would be like, as if it is already here; every time you have your Essence.
An Essence helps us to restore emotional balance, making it easier to reach for better thoughts and feelings. The better we feel, the more we are in alignment with our desire and wellbeing.
“What would it take ……..………..?”
(say whenever you take your Essence and when inspired to)
- for me to be peaceful and calm
- for me to appreciate the qualities in myself and other people
- for me to live a life that fills my heart with joy
- for my passion for….. to thrive in easy delightful ways
- for me to set healthy boundaries, having expansive relationships with family, friends and the community
Emotions are a guidance system from our Higher Self. Thoughts and emotions that don’t feel good lead us away from what we desire. Thoughts and emotions that feel good take us towards what we want.
Guidance can come to you in many ways; an urge to improve your life, intuition, an insight, a knowing, a dream, an inspirational idea, something you see or read or maybe something someone says, etc. Move in the direction of what feels good for you.
