Phoenix is the 14th in a series of Flower Essences, each having their own unique expression and qualities.
Red Bird of Paradise (Phoenix) is a striking ornamental plant. Its beautiful inflorescence starts off deep red, turning into orange with edges of yellow. Thorns scatter the branches. Phoenix has incredible heat tolerance. In herbal medicine the plant is used as a purgative, produces energy, and the flowers relieve fever and chest infections.
Possible Symptoms: Lack of interest, feel like giving-up, inactivity, weak, suppressed, frustration, anger, survival, scarcity, out on your own, feel left out and alienated from the tribe, don’t fit in, chest problems, defensive, stuck creative flow.
Positive Attributes: Strength, inspired to action, recreate yourself, regeneration, birthing of ideas, creating a paradise, energising vision, transformation, bring to life, adapt, diversify, flexibility, patience, rising from your own ashes, activation, abundance, uniqueness, reveal the magnificence already existing inside you.
Sometimes we feel stuck, including creatively, and need to shift something in ourselves. Phoenix helps us to transcend ‘patterns’ that get in the way of us ‘flying high’ (‘being a tall poppy’); such as living in survival, being defensive and weak. We may fear being alone or feeling alienated from the ’tribe’ if we are different, too successful, or any number of things.
Regeneration is the ability to rejuvenate or resurrect. Phoenix assists us to regenerate ourselves, create anew, activate seeds of unique potential and birth new possibilities from within us.
Some seeds (ideas) never germinate. To create a paradise, each potential seed has to be fertile. The best ‘seeds’ to grow are the ones you are inspired by, have an avid interest in and are ideas that bring you joy. These type of ‘seeds’ will be stronger, more resilient, and easier to tend to as they grow. They are more likely to thrive and bear fruit.
To assist them to grow into something magnificent we can give them optimum conditions and environment; e.g. loving attention, taking inspired action, gathering knowledge and expertise, and expecting success. Believing in ourselves and what we are doing. Our quality attention (high-tone thought and emotion) strengthens and nourishes the ‘plants’ (projects) we are tending to. Some plants grow quickly, others take years. Patience and the willingness to adapt and diversify with life’s circumstances may be required. If something is not working out how we perceive it could be, we go back to the ‘drawing board’; integrate what we have learnt, continuing to refine it until it is perfected. The ancient mythical creature, Phoenix regenerates itself by self-igniting and once incinerated, recreates itself anew; emerging from its own ashes.
When our labour is from inspiration, it is possible to birth something extraordinary. Paradise.
Taking your Essence –
Administer your essence whenever you feel you require it. Take a few drops either under the tongue, topically, or in a glass of water.
To get better results, state to yourself what you would like your Essence to assist you with, and expect good things to come. How would having this desired outcome make you feel? For example, would it bring more peace, joy, freedom, empowerment or love? Feel and imagine what it would be like, as if it is already here; every time you have your Essence.
An Essence helps us to restore emotional balance, making it easier to reach for better thoughts and feelings. The better we feel, the more we are in alignment with our desire and wellbeing.
“What would it take to…………..?”
(say whenever you take your Essence and when inspired to)
- to have radiant health, and regenerate my body in natural, creative ways
- develop a successful thriving …….. business with grace, ease and elegance
- write and tell my story the way I want it to be
- activate my genius now
- bring forth something new and original that benefits me and the world around me
- create something unique and successful from what I love doing, and prosper by it.
Emotions are a guidance system from our Higher Self. Thoughts and emotions that don’t feel good lead us away from what we desire. Thoughts and emotions that feel good take us towards what we want.
Guidance can come to you in many ways; an urge to improve your life, intuition, an insight, a knowing, a dream, an inspirational idea, something you see or read or maybe something someone says, etc. Move in the direction of what feels good for you.
